Live at the Brick – Friday Night Series
📅 Friday, May 29th
🕖 7PM – 10PM
📍 Brick Sip Haus | Tomah, WI
The Old Oaks Duo brings a refreshing chill-yet-funky take on acoustic music to the Live at the Brick stage.
Their sound floats between peaceful and gripping, blending emotive songwriting with rich instrumental textures. Franko’s warm vocals and intricate guitar work are elevated by Daniel Haschke’s harmonious saxophone solos and expressive alto flute riffs — creating a dynamic acoustic experience that feels both intimate and expansive.
From 12-string renditions of classics like Heart of Gold and What’s My Age Again to melodious indie originals, Old Oaks delivers a performance that is soulful, rhythmic, and unexpectedly powerful.
🏆 2022 Madison Area Music Award – Indie Song of the Year (“Wilted”)
They can also be seen performing with Madison’s award-winning funk-fusion band Wurk, bringing that same groove-driven energy into this stripped-down duo performance.
Cancel your boring plans.
Comedian John DeBoer is coming to Tomah on May 9th for two back-to-back shows that will absolutely wreck your “I don’t laugh that hard” reputation.
Smart. Fast. Unfiltered.
John’s comedy hits that sweet spot between brutally honest and painfully relatable. Relationships, money, getting older, life choices you probably shouldn’t have made — nothing’s off limits, and somehow you’ll laugh at all of it.
If you’ve ever:
• Checked your bank account and said “that’s future me’s problem”
• Tried to act younger than you are
• Or blamed your spouse for literally everything
You’re going to feel personally attacked… in the best way possible.
Two Shows – 6PM & 8PM
